Brain Health Summit 2024 Calmar | Mindful Workplaces Beyond Stigma

Join author and speaker Sam Eaton for his inspiring, personal story of overcoming struggles with brain health and depression. Sam is the founder of Recklessly Alive, a suicide prevention organization whose goal is to eliminate deaths by suicide in the world. At the Brain Health Summit, you’ll hear Sam’s hope-filled story from hitting rock bottom to chasing a life that is fully and recklessly alive. You will hear essential information and statistics about depression and suicide and the tangible steps we can all take to help prevent suicide in our communities.

This year’s Summit takes a deep dive into society’s misconceptions and barriers surrounding brain health and stigma, and the importance of creating “mindful workplaces.” You will learn ways to create safe spaces for conversations in professional environments and the changes we can make to language to fight stigma. Summit takeaways include the 10 questions all leaders need to be asking their people to help them feel seen and heard and strategies to counter stress and burnout.
