Mental Health First Aid Training - Iowa City

This is a full 8-hour Mental Health First Aid training on May 6 & 7. Traditional workplace trainings on leadership, safety, and wellness can overlook mental health – our course fills that gap. Secure your early access and lead with knowledge and skills to help support your team (and others) with mental health and substance use challenges.

By signing up, you're taking the first step towards creating a supportive, productive work environment. This training (Mental Health First Aid) is endorsed by OSHA as a way to combat workplace stress and improve safety.

Mental Health First Aid instructor Megan Hammes (Hammes Homestead and Consulting) is hosting this MHFA in conjunction with MERGE/Greater IC. Megan has extensive experience in the safety, health, and well-being space and she is on a mission to train hundreds of new Mental Health First Aiders!
