Enter at 1021 Davis Avenue and proceed on road that loops the park in one direction to the parking lot by playground. We’ll walk about 40 minutes on the new .5-mile trail and boardwalk over the pond, up the hill to the overlook and around back down to the new nature scaped playground. The uphill walk is rewarded with dramatic views of downtown Des Moines. After the walk meet at The Angry Goldfish, 2301 SW 9th St, Des Moines for lunch.
