One school will win $1,000 by being the last team standing in the 2024 School Mascot Challenge as part of the Healthiest State 14th Annual Walk! Does your school have the most pride in Iowa?

How To Vote
Schools will compete in a bracket-style head-to-head voting challenge via Woobox, a link to the voting page will also be posted on Iowa Healthiest State Initiative social media.

From September 3rd - October 2nd Iowans across the state will be able to vote for their school in head to head matchups every round until a final winner is crowned. Weekly updates will be posted on social media.
Prize
The school that receives the most votes in the final round will be awarded $1,000. The prize money can be used to help start or fund healthy incentive projects. The Healthiest State Initiative will hold a check presentation for the winning school at a later date. The winning school will be required to provide a project update within one year of the funds being awarded.
Schedule
Round of 32: September 3rd - 8th
Round of 16: September 9th -15th
Elite 8: September 16th -22nd
Final 4: September 23rd -29th
Final 2: September 30th - Oct. 2nd
Voting ends at noon on Wednesday, October 2nd!
